“Ecology for the Sheltered Community” is a social and ecological project that grew out of a moving personal story. Danny Kogen, the project’s initiator and C.E.O., fathered a child with special needs approximately two years ago.
Through his deep emotional experience, and recognition of its long-term implications, Danny was inspired by a desire to act, and serve people with special needs.
An understanding of future employment and income issues led to the establishment of the “Ecology for the Sheltered Community” project in December 2008.
“Ecology for the Sheltered Community” is a social, community oriented project that aspires to find suitable and interesting employment, as well as appropriate income, for people with a wide array of disabilities.
Furthermore, “Ecology for the Sheltered Community” is an ecologic project acting out of concern for future generations, under the banner of finding the most sustainable and environmentally friendly ecological end solutions.
“Ecology for the Sheltered Community” is a unique project that combines good intentions and blessed activity by optimistic people.
